Moonlit Blue Vase by William Moorcroft

Here we have a stunning William Moorcroft squat vase in the Moonlit Blue design dating to circa 1925. Landscape patterns, including Dawn, Eventide and Moonlit Blue are all highly sought after and rare pieces for the collector and are considered prize pieces. At 7cm tall and 8.5cm wide, it is a little squat vase, but it has real presence! Counting three main trees, three smaller trees and nine plumes off the main trees, it has great detail. Colours are crisp and vibrant. The vase displays incredibly well as the shape is conducive to catching downward light from a cabinet light.

The vase is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks or restoration guaranteed. Beneath the foot, we have all present and correct. William Moorcroft’s flash signature in green, the “Moorcroft Made in England” stamps and the vase shape number “M32”. There is only one small scratch to the body of the vase to note, anything else in the photos are reflections or tiny pieces of dust.
